Apple - Summer Films

To show off the capabilities of the iPhone camera, we created a series of summer films. We conducted a massive internet-wide search to identify the very best user generated content. Of those, our chosen clips turned into short films that were released throughout the summer.

Some of these shot on iPhone summer films went viral and continue to reappear to this day.

Since the inception of the term and the standard of quality portrayed, Apple has astonished users with how a phone that is inches in length can click a photo that can go up on a billboard that is (for example) 14 feet high and 48 feet wide. As a result, Shot on iPhone became one of the most iconic marketing campaigns in history.
